Bio

Assalamu Alaikum,

I’m originally from Phoenix, Arizona, and now call Atlanta, Georgia, home. I currently serve as a middle and high school teacher, specializing in Islamic Studies and Math. In addition to teaching, I’m passionate about guiding and empowering young people as a dedicated youth mentor.

From a young age, I immersed myself in the study of Islam, continuing my learning throughout school and into high school. Currently, I am in my fourth year of college, pursuing a degree in computer engineering.

After completing my studies, I plan to deepen my Islamic education with the goal of becoming a Quran teacher, combining my passion for knowledge with a commitment to serve and inspire others.

اسلام عليكم, I'm Hammad Sajid

I became a Hafiz of the Quran at 16. Along my journey, I have studied Tajweed, Fiqh, and Seerah, which have deepened my understanding of Islam and strengthened my connection to the Quran.

For the past six years, I have been honored to lead salah at a local masjid, serving my community with dedication and sincerity. Currently in my final year of high school, I strive to balance my academic pursuits with my commitment to Islamic education and community service, a journey that inspires me to excel in both my deen and dunya.
